Manipur SSC Special Primary Teacher Recruitment 2026

Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) has published recruitment notification Advt No. 02/2026 for the recruitment of 80 Special Primary Teacher (SPT) posts on the official website manipurssc.mn.gov.in. Candidates having 10+2 with at least 50% marks; D.Ed. in Special Education from RCI approved Institute with valid RCI CRR number; 6 months training in cross disability area; and passed TET-1 can apply online on or before 20/08/2026.

Vacancy Details

PwD(a): Blindness & Low Vision; PwD(b): Deaf & Hard of Hearing; PwD(c): Locomotor disability (incl. cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, muscular dystrophy).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Board; OR
• 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002; AND
• D.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI approved Institute with valid RCI CRR number; OR D.El.Ed. with recognized qualification equivalent to D.Ed. in Special Education from RCI approved institution with valid RCI CRR number; AND
• 6 months training of teaching in cross disability area in inclusive education (may be dropped if programme not available, with condition to undergo training when conducted); AND
• Passed TET-1 conducted by State Govt. or any other agency approved by NCTE.

Age Limit

• Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on the date of notification (22.07.2026).
• Age relaxation: SC/ST by 5 years; OBC by 3 years; Government servants to the extent of continuous service period.

Pay Scale

Level 6, Group-C Non-Gazetted as per Manipur Government norms.

Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type MCQ examination of 100 questions carrying 100 marks, duration 75 minutes (100 minutes for PwD candidates using a scribe).
2. Exam Sections:
   • General Knowledge – 50 Questions – 50 Marks (Class XII level)
   • Basic Mathematics – 25 Questions – 25 Marks (Class XII level)
   • English Language – 25 Questions – 25 Marks (Class XII level)
3. Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark. No negative marking for incorrect answers.
4. Normalization: If the examination is held in more than one shift, marks shall be normalized using the MSSC normalization formula.
5. Tie-breaking: (i) Total marks in CBT; (ii) Date of Birth (older candidates ranked higher); (iii) Alphabetical order of names.
6. Provisional Answer Key: Uploaded online after examination; objections can be submitted within 3 days online with Rs. 100/- fee per challenged question.
7. Examination Centres: Imphal / Churachandpur / Senapati (as chosen by applicant).

Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply

1. Register on the portal https://manipurssc.mn.gov.in using parameters matching your Employment Exchange sponsorship credentials, then log in using your User ID and password.
2. Fill Application Details: Enter your Profile parameters accurately (Name, DOB, Category, Language, RCI CRR status, and Government Service NOC if applicable).
3. Upload Media (photo, scanned documents, signature) and accept the mandatory qualification validation declaration checkbox.
4. Pay the application fee via UPI/Net Banking/Cards at Apply Online Link.
5. Confirm details, complete form submission, and generate acknowledgement receipt.
6. Note: Only candidates sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange of Manipur shall be allowed to submit applications online.

• Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Manipur (or whose parent/ancestor in direct lineage is a permanent resident of Manipur with documentary proof).
• Language: Candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any Tribal dialect of Manipur.
• PwD Benchmark: PwD applicants must have not less than 40% of specified disability as certified by the certifying authority.
• NOC Requirement: All candidates in service (other than casual or muster roll) must submit/upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned Department/Authority.
• e-Admit Card: Will be available for download on the MSSC website. No admit card will be issued from MSSC office or sent by post.
• Answer Key Objection Fee: Rs. 100/- per challenged question (online mode only).
• Commission's Right: The Commission reserves the right to amend this notification in parts or as a whole.
