Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital (LBSH) Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 - 07 Posts (Adhoc, Walk-in Interview 23 Oct)

Government of NCT of Delhi, Office of the Medical Superintendent, Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Khichripur, Delhi invites applications for the post of Senior Resident on Adhoc basis through walk-in interview.

• Post: Senior Resident (Adhoc Basis) — 07 posts across 5 departments
• Department-wise: Obs & Gynae 03, Pediatrics 01, Medicine 01, Surgery 01, Anesthesia 01
• Category-wise: UR-01, OBC-01, SC-01 (Obs & Gynae); OBC-01 (Pediatrics); UR-01 (Medicine); SC-01 (Surgery); SC-01 (Anesthesia)
• Walk-in interview date: 23-10-2026, reporting 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Administration Branch, LBSH
• Age limit: not exceeding 45 years as on the date of advertisement; 3 years relaxation for OBC (with valid NCL certificate) and 5 years for SC/ST
• Emoluments: As per 7th CPC, Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs 67,700 - 2,08,700) plus other admissible allowances per month
• Tenure: 44 days, extendable for a further 44 days by giving 01 day break after written request, till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier (maximum 03 years including earlier service as Senior Resident on ad-hoc/regular basis in any NMC recognized teaching/non-teaching institution)

• MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post-Doctoral Degree (or equivalent) in the concerned specialty from an NMC/MCI recognized University/Institute, with DMC registration for the concerned specialty/super specialty
• The tenure of the PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post-Doctoral Degree must be completed and the result declared before the date of interview
• If candidates with MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post-Doctoral Degree are not available, a candidate with MBBS degree with 2 (Two) years experience in the same specialty may be considered
• Relaxation of criteria as per H&FW Deptt. circular No. F. No. 121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10-06-2011

• Apply in the prescribed application format along with original and self-attested photocopies of: 10th Certificate, MBBS Degree, Post Graduate Degree, DMC registration certificate or acknowledgement of DMC registration, Caste Certificate, valid NCL certificate in case of OBC (Delhi) candidate, proof of awards/publications if applicable, and identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card etc.) with two passport size photographs
• Report at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Administration Branch, LBSH on 23-10-2026; no application will be entertained beyond the stipulated time
• There is no fee for appearing in the interview

• Only OBC/EWS certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi shall be accepted, and the same must have been issued before the date of interview; seats reserved for SC, ST, OBC (Delhi with valid NCL) and specially abled candidates as per prevailing guidelines on ad-hoc basis for 44 days
• In case of non-availability of SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, the post shall be filled from any other suitable candidate of unreserved/other category
• Mode of selection: interview only; rank list valid till one month from the date of result or the next advertisement for the same post, whichever is earlier
• Selected candidates shall be allowed a maximum of 07 days from the date of issue of result; the contract may be terminated by either party on seven days notice
• Candidates must produce NOC from present employer if working in any organisation, and will be subject to declaration of medically fit by the Staff Physician, LBSH
• Selected candidates must submit an undertaking that they are not working at any Government or private healthcare facility at the time of joining and will not work in one during the tenure; strict action including termination of service applies if found otherwise
