Degree Course on "as and when required basis" depending upon the requirement of teaching work in the academic discipline of Law for the academic year 2026-27.

Honorarium

• Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred Only) per lecture session (normally extends close to two hours)
• Maximum ceiling of Rs. 50,000/- per month or as per instructions received from the Competent Authority

Educational Qualification

A. Essential:

• Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, approved by the BCI
• Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, or a similar test accredited by UGC, like SLET/SET, OR who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 (exempted from NET/SLET/SET)

B. Alternative:

• The Ph.D. Degree from a foreign university/institution

Relaxation Clause

• Clearing of NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for candidates in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET has not been conducted; minimum 55% marks at Master's level shall be the essential qualification
• Relaxation of 5% allowed at Bachelor's and Master's level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/Differently abled candidates
• Relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) provided to Ph.D. Degree holders who obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19th September, 1991
• A relevant grade equivalent to 55% at Master's level shall also be considered valid

Selection Process

• Selection shall be based on Academic Score as per Appendix II (Table 3B) of UGC Regulations 2018 and no interview
• Candidates are required to fill Self-Assessment Marking Proforma
• Panel of selected candidates valid for one academic year from the date of approval by the Competent Authority
