- Postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognised institution or university, or a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- At least three years of regular service in Level-12 (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200) in the Central Government, State Government or their autonomous bodies, in the field of educational administration or teacher education, or in an equivalent post.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Age not exceeding 50 years; KVS employees get a relaxation of five years, and SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ex-servicemen get relaxation as per Government of India rules.
- Desirable: working knowledge of English and Hindi or any other Bharatiya Bhasha.

Vacancies
Total two posts, both backlog vacancies: OBC - 1, SC - 1. One post is reserved for PwBD (visually impaired) backlog as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
Selection and posting
Applications will be screened and eligible candidates will be called for interview in Delhi. No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview. The selected officer may be posted at KVS Headquarters, any regional office, or any educational and training institute anywhere in India.
Application fee
Rs. 2,000 application fee plus Rs. 500 processing fee, totalling Rs. 2,500, by demand draft in favour of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, payable at New Delhi. SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from the application fee but must pay the Rs. 500 processing fee.
