KVIC – Marketing Expert, State Office Telangana (Hyderabad)

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), State Office Telangana, Hyderabad, invites applications for engagement as Marketing Expert on a purely contractual and temporary basis up to 31.03.2027, extendable for a further period subject to the requirement of KVIC and satisfactory performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or any other discipline with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field, preferably in Small-Scale and Village Industries, Handicrafts, etc.; or
• MBA (Marketing) with 2 years’ experience in the relevant field, preferably in Small-Scale and Village Industries, Handicrafts, etc.

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, advertising and brand management.
• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of current and relevant markets in rural India for village or cottage industries.
• Should be well versed in Telugu.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and track marketing programmes such as e-mail, social media or digital campaigns, and events.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
• Analyse and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
• Develop and create marketing materials such as sales and product collateral, ensuring guidelines are met.
• Write, proofread and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.
• Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programmes.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

General Terms and Conditions

• The engagement is purely contractual and temporary up to 31.03.2027 and does not confer any right for regular appointment in KVIC.
• The remuneration shall be a lump-sum consolidated amount of Rs. 50,000/- per month. No other allowance or benefit shall be admissible except as specifically provided by KVIC.
• The selected candidate may be required to travel as part of official duties.
• Selection will be made through shortlisting and/or interview, or both, as decided by the Selection Committee. Mere fulfilment of the eligibility criteria does not confer any right to selection.
• KVIC reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process, increase or decrease the number of positions, or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
