- Public Relations Officer: print-media experience with an RNI-approved publication or a national institute under the Government of India, and proficiency in Malayalam and English
- Executive Engineer (Civil): retired Executive Engineers from PWD/CPWD with at least 10 years' experience in the construction of buildings

- The PRO appointment is initially for one year; the Executive Engineer appointment is initially for one year, extendable on the basis of performance
