KRIBHCO Agronomist Recruitment 2026 – Contractual (Madhya Pradesh & Gujarat)
Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd (KRIBHCO), a leading Multi-State Cooperative Society of India engaged in production and marketing of Ammonia, Urea, Bio Fertilizers, Compost, Seeds, DAP/NPK fertilizers and other agro inputs, invites applications for the position of Agronomist for Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat on a contractual basis for an ongoing project. Engagement will be for a period of one year, extendable based on project requirements and performance.
Qualification & Experience
- Option 1: B.Sc. Agriculture plus minimum two years' experience in potato (Santana, Quintera etc.) contract farming / potato seed production.
- OR
- Option 2: 12th Pass in First Division plus minimum two years' experience in potato (Santana, Quintera etc.) contract farming / potato seed production.
Other Requirements
- Motorcycle with valid driving license is mandatory.
- Good communication skills with farmers and knowledge of local language.
- Ability to travel frequently in rural areas.
- Knowledge of potato cultivation (Santana, Quintera etc.) and crop management practices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, email etc.) will be preferred.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and management of potato contract farming programs in Gujarat and MP.
- Development and management of seed multiplication programme in UP.
- Provide technical guidance to farmers on potato agronomy.
- Farmer identification, registration, and relationship management.
- Conducting field days, farmer meetings, demonstrations, and extension activities.
- Monitoring commercial and semi-commercial potato trials.
- Crop scouting, agronomic advisory, crop survey and disease/pest surveillance.
- Collection of field data and preparation of technical reports.
- Assist in seed procurement, distribution, harvesting, and storage activities.
- Sample collection and testing of potatoes.
