Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, invites applications for the post of SSE/STA (S&T) on a fixed-term contract basis for the Integrated Maintenance Contract for the Katra (Excl.) – Banihal (Excl.) section of Northern Railway in Jammu & Kashmir. How to apply – walk-in interview
This is a walk-in selection. Candidates must report on 18.11.2026 between 09:00 and 12:00 hrs at the USBRL Project Office, Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir, carrying the prescribed application form, original certificates and self-attested copies. The notice states that travel facilities, rest house or hotel reimbursement and other allowances apply as per KRCL policy for official duty; the contract appointee is entitled to 15 days' earned leave on completion of every six months and 8 days' casual leave in a year, with no encashment of earned leave.
Selection and contract terms
Selection is through the walk-in interview and document verification on the date notified. The contract is for the Integrated Maintenance Contract and may be terminated on completion of the contract period, on breach of terms, on three months' notice or payment in lieu, or on cessation of the maintenance contract. Candidates should satisfy themselves of the eligibility conditions in Annexure-I of the notice before reporting.
