KRCL Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026 – 134 Posts | Notification No. CO/APPR/2026/01 (Document Verification 24-28 Aug 2026)
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Government of India Undertaking, is conducting a Special Drive to engage Apprentice Trainees under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended) through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
Candidates having qualification of Graduation / Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics) and Graduates in General stream who have passed out during 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 are eligible to attend the Documents Verification.

Registration time: 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs only on the date of Document Verification. Venue: Executives Club, Konkan Rail Vihar, Sector-40, Opp. Seawoods Railway Station (West), Navi Mumbai - 400706.
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must register on the NATS portal and have a valid approved NATS ID at the time of document verification.
- Candidates who passed out within the last 5 years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025) will be considered.
- Graduate Apprentices (BE/B.Tech): Civil / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering from recognized (AICTE) University.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical from recognized Board/University.
- General Stream Graduates: B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com / BBA / BMS / BJMC / BBS from UGC-recognized University.
- Age (as on 01.01.2026): 18-25 years (DOB between 01.01.2001 to 01.01.2008). Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL.
- Candidates who already underwent / are undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 are NOT eligible.
Stipend
Through DBT mechanism – Government share is paid directly: Rs. 6,150/- p.m. for Graduate and Rs. 5,450/- p.m. for Diploma holders. KRCL pays balance 50% of Establishment's share: Graduate Apprentices Rs. 6,150/- p.m. and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices Rs. 5,450/- p.m.
Selection
- Merit list prepared on aggregate percentage of all years/semesters (no rounding off).
- Land loser candidates of the Konkan Railway Project get first preference.
- Candidates from KRCL jurisdiction districts (Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, North/South Goa, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada) get second preference.
- Duration of training: ONE year as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973. Place of training: anywhere in KRCL jurisdiction.
