Women & Child Development Department (Bal Vikas), Kolhapur District invites applications for appointment of Anganwadi Helper (मदतनीस) by nomination/merit for centres under the Shirol & Ajara Nagarparishad and Hupari Nagarparishad areas (application window 01.08.2026 to 14.08.2026). Only women candidates.

Educational Qualification
- Minimum 12th pass (इयत्ता 12 वी उत्तीर्ण) from State Education Board or equivalent.
- For centres where >50% children speak a non-Marathi language (Urdu, Hindi, etc.), the candidate must know that language (read & write).
- Must have passed at least one qualification (10th or above) with Marathi as a subject.
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026)
Minimum 18 years, maximum 35 years; widow candidates max 40 years.
Selection Process (Marks-based, no exam)
- Max 80 educational marks + max 20 additional marks. 12th with 80%+ = 60 marks; 70.01-80% = 55; 60.01-70% = 50; 50.01-60% = 45; 40-50% = 40; <40% = 35. Graduate +10; PG +4; D.Ed +2; B.Ed +2; MS-CIT/equivalent +2.
- Additional: widow/orphan 10; SC/ST 5; OBC/VJ/NT/other backward 3; min 2 years Anganwadi experience 5.
- Preliminary merit list → objections within 10 working days → final merit list → nomination; waiting list valid 1 year.
