District One Stop Centre Khagaria (Bihar) Centre Administrator Recruitment 2026 – 01 Post (Women Reserved) | Apply by 12 September 2026

The Office of the District Magistrate, Khagaria (जिलाधिकारी, खगड़िया) has released an advertisement for contract-based engagement of a Centre Administrator (केन्द्र प्रशासक) for the District One Stop Centre (वन स्टॉप सेंटर), Khagaria, Bihar. The advertisement reference number is 02/26. The position is notified in accordance with the letter of the Managing Director, Bihar Mahila Evam Bal Vikas Nigam (Women & Child Development Corporation), Patna, bearing reference U/2088/23 dated 26/09/2023. The Centre Administrator will be responsible for the smooth and coordinated operation of the District One Stop Centre, ensuring integrated services are delivered to women affected by violence, and will be engaged on a purely temporary contract basis. There is one single vacancy under this advertisement, and the post is reserved for women.

The One Stop Centre (Sakhi) is a Government of India scheme under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, implemented at the district level through the Bihar Women & Child Development Corporation. The Centre Administrator functions in accordance with the One Stop Centre guidelines and is expected to coordinate with the police, legal, medical, shelter and counselling services to provide a single point of support for women facing violence.

Essential Qualifications

The essential qualification for the Centre Administrator position is a postgraduate degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognised university: Law, Social Work, Sociology, Social Science, or Psychology.

Desirable Experience

The advertisement requires at least five (5) years of working experience in any government or non-government project or programme related to women-and-children issues. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked as a counsellor (परामर्शी) in a One Stop Centre, can ensure the smooth functioning of the Centre as per the One Stop Centre guidelines, and to candidates who are domiciled locally (Bihar). Candidates already working in government departments, institutions or offices will be given preference during the shortlisting stage.

Age Limit and Emoluments

The upper age limit, calculated as on the date of publication of the advertisement, is as follows: Unreserved (Male) – 37 years; Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female) – 40 years; Unreserved (Female) – 40 years; Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female) – 42 years. The selected Centre Administrator will be paid an honorarium (मानदेय) of Rs. 30,000 per month, with Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) payable as per rules in addition to the basic honorarium. For posts having a consolidated honorarium, DA and HRA will not be payable.

Tenure and Working Conditions

The engagement is wholly temporary and is based on a contract. The appointment may be terminated without prior notice, or on one month notice, and carries no claim to regular appointment or regularisation of service thereafter. The engaged person will neither be treated as a government servant nor be entitled to any facility admissible to government servants. The engagement will be under the District One Stop Centre, Khagaria. Reservation as applicable by the General Administration Department will be effective, and benefit of reservation will be available only to applicants who hold a Bihar domicile.

The final merit list for engagement on the various posts will be published on the basis of the desired educational qualification, working experience and interview.
