King George's Medical University (KGMU), Department of Psychiatry, Lucknow has issued Advertisement No. 13(5) (dated August 2026) for a Walk-in Interview for 01 post of Project Technical Support - III under the project "National Survey on Extent and Pattern of Substance Use in India (NDUS-2025)", commissioned by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India and coordinated by NDDTC, AIIMS, New Delhi. Eligibility Criteria (as per ICMR Norms)
- Essential Qualification: Three-year Graduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Statistics, Population Studies, or any allied health/social science discipline with three years post-qualification experience; OR a Postgraduate Degree in the above-mentioned subjects/fields.
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 years (relaxation as per Government of India / ICMR norms).
Nature of Work
- Assisting the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators in implementation of project activities in the Department of Psychiatry, KGMU.
- Coordination with stakeholders, project documentation, field monitoring and revalidation activities.
- Training-related activities, data management, report preparation, and any other project-related work assigned by the investigators.
Terms & Conditions
- Appointment is purely temporary and contractual under the project; no claim for regular appointment at KGMU.
- Initial appointment 6 months, extendable based on project requirement, availability of funds, and satisfactory performance.
- Candidates working in Central/State Govt/PSU/Autonomous Bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Age relaxation as per Government of India / ICMR norms.
- Crucial date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, experience) = date of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Selected candidate may be required to undertake extensive field travel.
