- For teaching and office posts, selection is through a subject/category-wise merit list based on weighted marks: High School (percentage × 10/100), Intermediate (× 10/100), Graduation (× 20/100), Post-graduation (× 20/100) and Training/B.Ed. (theory + practical × 30/100).
- In case of a tie in merit marks, the older candidate is ranked higher; if age is also equal, candidates are ranked alphabetically by name.
- For Pradhan Rasoiya, Sahayak Rasoiya, Chaprasi and Chowkidar posts, selection is based on an interview.
