KSET 2026 – Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KEA)

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Malleshwaram, Bengaluru announces the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2026 for determination of eligibility for Assistant Professor in Karnataka.

Exam Details

Eligibility

• Master's degree/equivalent from UGC-recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for SC-A/B/C, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, PwD, Transgender).
• Final-year/appearing candidates may apply provisionally; 10+2+3+4 pattern; foreign degrees need AIU equivalence.

Exam Pattern

• Paper I: 50 questions / 100 marks / 1 hour (Teaching & Research Aptitude); Paper II: 100 questions / 200 marks / 2 hours (Subject). Total 150 questions / 300 marks.

How to Apply

1. Apply online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ from 10.08.2026 to 05.09.2026.
2. Fee: General/others Rs. 750/-; Cat-1, SC-A/B/C, ST, PwD Rs. 500/-. One application, one subject.
