Kaimur DCPU Support Person (POCSO) Panel Recruitment 2026 – 19 Posts
District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Collectorate, Kaimur (Bhabhua), Bihar invites applications from eligible candidates for listing of Support Persons (सहायक व्यक्ति) on temporary posts under Section 39 of the POCSO Act, 2012 and POCSO Rules, 2020, under Advertisement No. 04/2026. The advertisement is issued in pursuance of the Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Bihar, Patna guidelines (Memo No. 749 dated 24.04.2026).

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate degree (स्नातक). Degree in Child Rights / Child Protection / Legal Work / Social Work / Sociology / Child Psychology / Counselling is desirable; Diploma in Child Development / Child Psychology with a graduate degree in any faculty also acceptable.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of Child Rights / Counselling / Social Work / Child Psychology preferred. Work experience in Childline / Child Helpline services will be given preference.
- Age: Minimum 30 years, Maximum 65 years.
- Residency: Indian citizen and native resident of Kaimur district only.
- Antecedents: Clean criminal history; no moral turpitude conviction; not expelled/blacklisted from any child protection institution (affidavits required).
Honorarium
Minimum Rs.9,000/- per case (remuneration and travel expenses payable as per the procedure prescribed by the Bihar State Legal Services Authority).

- Fill the prescribed application form mentioning the post applied for, and attach self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates, caste certificate, residential certificate and passport size photograph.
- Application must bear the candidate's signature.
- Write "Application for Support Person & Advertisement No." in bold letters on the envelope.
- Submit through Registered Post / Speed Post to: Assistant Director, District Child Protection Unit, Collectorate Campus, Bhabhua, Kaimur (Bihar), PIN-824404.
- Applications must reach on or before 26.09.2026 (up to 05:00 PM). Applications received after the deadline or through any other mode will not be accepted.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through the district website kaimur.nic.in only.
Selection Process
- Evaluation: Graduate – 50 marks, Post-graduate – 20 marks, Ph.D – 10 marks, Total – 80 marks; Interview maximum 20 marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for individual interview before the Selection Committee headed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge (POCSO Court).
- Listing (panel) tenure: maximum 02 years or until attaining age 65 years, whichever is earlier. Listed support persons are not Government servants and are not entitled to any Government facilities.
- Selection may be cancelled at any time for false information or adverse conduct.
