+Age Limit: Minimum 21 years. Maximum: UR/EWS – 35 years, EBC-I/BC-II (Male) – 37 years, Women (UR/EWS/EBC/BC) – 38 years, SC/ST – 40 years. PwD: +10 years. Ex-Servicemen: +5 years. Existing Para Teachers with 2+ years service: relaxation equal to contractual service period up to max 58 years.

- Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1-5): 10+2 with minimum 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed + JTET (Class 1-5) pass. +
- Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher – Language (Class 6-8): Graduation/Honours in one of the notified languages + B.Ed + JTET (Class 6-8) pass. +
- Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher – Social Science (Class 6-8): Graduation in Arts/Humanities/Social Science/Commerce/Management + B.Ed + JTET (Class 6-8). +
- Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher – Science & Mathematics (Class 6-8): Graduation in Science/Engineering/Technology/Agriculture/Mathematics + B.Ed + JTET (Class 6-8). +
5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/EBC-I/BC-II/PwD; 7% for PVTG.
