- Knowledge of Konkani: In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with knowledge of Konkani, the Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit, and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government on the recommendation of GPSC for Group ‘A’ posts in Professional Colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services.
- PwD Reservation (Veterinary Officer): 1 post out of 19 is reserved for PwD (Blindness and low vision or Deaf and hard of Hearing). In case of non-availability of PwD candidates, equal number of posts to be kept vacant from Unreserved category.
- Deputation Period: For Assistant Professor in Anaesthesiology (Transfer on Deputation), the period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
- DM/MCh 3-year degree holders: For Assistant Professor posts in super-speciality, candidates with DM/MCh degree of three years duration require no additional experience after qualifying degree.
- Application Fee Payment: Applications where fee payment has been made after the last date will be summarily rejected and no refund will be provided.
