Qualifying candidates become eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of UT of J&K (JKSET) and UT of Ladakh (LASET), and also for admission to Ph.D.

Eligibility: Master's degree with minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade from a UGC-recognized University/Institution. OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: 50% marks. Candidates appearing in Master's exam may apply provisionally with Bonafide Certificate (must complete PG within 2 years of result declaration). Ph.D. holders whose Master's was completed on or before 19.09.1991 get 5% relaxation.
