Jharkhand Home Guard Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Rural Home Guard: minimum Class 7 pass; permanent resident of the concerned block of Latehar district.
- Urban Home Guard: minimum Matriculation (Class 10) pass; ordinary resident of the urban area of Latehar district.
- Age: 19 to 40 years as on 04-04-2026 (relaxation as per Government rules).
- Physical standards: Male 162 cm (General/OBC/BC) / 157 cm (SC/ST); Female 148 cm; chest 79 cm (General/OBC/BC) / 76 cm (SC/ST).
- 50% posts reserved for women, with 5% of that quota for widowed/divorced/abandoned women.
- Residence certificate, caste certificate (where applicable) and educational certificates must be uploaded with the application.
