Jamui DCPU Support Person (POCSO) Panel Recruitment 2026 – 15 Posts
District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Collectorate, Jamui, Bihar invites applications from eligible candidates for listing of Support Persons (सहायक व्यक्ति) on the panel under Section 39 of the POCSO Act, 2012 and POCSO Rules, 2020, under Advertisement No. 02/2026. The advertisement is issued in pursuance of the Bihar Social Welfare Department's guidelines (Memo No. 748 / Letter No. 749 dated 24.04.2026).

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate degree (स्नातक). Degree in Child Rights / Child Protection / Legal Work / Social Work / Sociology / Child Psychology is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of Child Rights / Counselling / Social Work / Child Psychology. Work experience in Childline / Child Helpline services will be given preference.
- Age: Minimum 30 years, Maximum 65 years.
- Residency: Only original (domicile) residents of Jamui district are eligible to apply.
Honorarium
Minimum Rs.9,000/- per case (remuneration and travel expenses payable as per the procedure prescribed by the Bihar State Legal Services Authority).

- Submit the fully filled application form along with self-attested copies of all educational certificates, work experience certificates, caste certificate, residential certificate, photographs and Aadhaar card.

- Applications must reach on or before 16.08.2026 (up to 05:00 PM). Applications received after the deadline or through any other mode will not be accepted.
- A self-declaration affidavit (not expelled/blacklisted from any institution) must be attached.
- All original certificates must be produced for verification on the interview date.
Selection Process
- Evaluation marks: Graduate - 50 marks, Postgraduate - 20 marks, Ph.D. - 10 marks (Total 80 marks) + Personal Interview - max 20 marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview before a Selection Committee chaired by the Addl. District & Sessions Judge (POCSO Court).
- Listing (panel) tenure: maximum 02 years or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
- Listed support persons will not be treated as Government servants and no claim of regularization in Government service will be valid.
