The Office of the Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Balodabazar, District Balodabazar-Bhatapara (Chhattisgarh), invites applications in hard copy by speed post only for engagement as Guest Lecturers (Mehman Pravakta) for the academic session 2026-27 against vacant posts in Government ITI Balodabazar and Government ITI Asnind (Kasdol), vide Press Release No. OPS/Ray/Panchi/Meh.Prav./Press Vijni/2026/1607 dated 15.10.2026.

Educational and Technical Qualification

1. English Language (ITI Balodabazar)

1. Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from a recognized university; post-graduate degree holders will be given preference.
2. B.Ed. from a recognized university.

2. Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (Hindi) (ITI Asnind, Kasdol)

1. 10+2 examination passed from a recognized board, or old higher secondary examination passed, or first year of a graduate course of a recognized university.
2. Hindi shorthand and typing certificate from a recognized board/institution/Shorthand Writers’ Council - (a) Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (Hindi) certificate, and (b) a speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand (a skill test will be conducted).
3. One-year diploma/certificate in Data Entry Operator/Programming from a recognized institution with a typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour (skill test will be conducted).

Selection Process

• Selection list will be prepared on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the technical qualification prescribed in the prevailing service recruitment rules; no interview will be held.
• For trades where CTI/ATI is required, candidates holding a one-year CTI/ATI certificate will be given priority; if no such candidate is available, the merit list will be prepared from candidates with the prescribed technical qualification.
• Marks of ATI/CTI/NTC/ITI etc. will not be included in the computation of merit marks.
• Where a State Trade Certificate and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) are prescribed, candidates must have passed the NAC examination in the relevant trade.
• Equivalence of engineering trades will be determined as per the prevailing departmental recruitment rules - Chhattisgarh Industrial Training (Non-Gazetted) Class III Recruitment Rules, 2014 as amended on 31.05.2019.

• Guest lecturers may be invited for one or more training sessions as required.
• If the training work or conduct is found unsatisfactory, the Principal/Head of institution may, after giving an opportunity to be heard and recording reasons, decide to continue or remove the guest lecturer.
• If a candidate is a regular/deputed/contract employee of the Government, his/her service shall automatically stand terminated on appointment as guest lecturer; the engagement process shall also automatically terminate if the candidate becomes a regular/deputed/contract employee during the process.
• If a candidate is invited for more than one institution/trade/subject, attending at one place shall automatically invalidate the candidature for the others.
• A separate application must be submitted for each trade.
• The candidate must be a domicile of Chhattisgarh; a copy of the domicile certificate issued by the competent authority must be attached with the application.
• The number of posts may be increased, decreased or cancelled as per requirement.
• For Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (Hindi/English), if candidates with a shorthand speed of 100 words per minute are not available, the Joint Director may, at his level, decide to consider candidates with a speed of 80 words per minute.
• For the Stenographer post, the selection list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the shorthand skill test.
• If a selected candidate does not join within the prescribed period, the selection will be cancelled and the next candidate in merit will be given an opportunity.
• Minimum age must not be less than 18 years as on the last date of application.
• The name of the institution and trade applied for must be clearly mentioned in the application form; applications without signature on the form and the affidavit will not be considered.
