India Ship Technology Centre (ISTC), a Company incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 under the aegis of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, invites online applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on contract basis (Notification Ref. ISTC/HR/01/2026-27/RECRUITMENT PH. 1 (A) dated 25.08.2026).

Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: Degree in Naval Architecture Engineering / Marine Engineering / Ocean Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University AND PhD in Engineering from a recognized University.
- Essential: Minimum 25 years of managerial experience in Ship design / Shipyard / R&D organisations, with proven track record of managing large projects or leading operations in senior / leadership positions in Commercial or Defence R&D/Design/Shipbuilding/Maritime sector.
- Desirable: Experience in training, consultancy, or policy formulation or advisory roles; strong industry network (Shipyards, Maritime companies, Academia, Government).
Selection Process
Personal Interview. Shortlisted candidates based on eligibility verification will be called for interview.
