Eligibility
- ITI/NAC in the relevant trade (full-time/regular, recognised by State/Central Govt./NCVT); AOCP trade may be substituted by +2 Science with Chemistry & 50% marks.
- Two years' post-qualification experience in the relevant trade (apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 counts).
- Upper age limit: 35 years as on the closing date (maximum 50 years after all applicable relaxations).
- Candidates may apply for only one Unit/location and one post/discipline.
Pay & Allowances
- During Training (1 year): consolidated stipend of Rs.34,200/- per month + HRA (if bachelors' accommodation not provided) + medical facility.
- On absorption (W-3 grade): Pay Scale Rs.22,000-88,000 + IDA, HRA and other allowances; approximate CTC ~Rs.6.5 lakh per annum.
Selection
- Computer Based Test (CBT, bi-lingual Hindi/English) followed by Skill/Trade Test (qualifying in nature). Final merit based on CBT marks. Qualifying: 50% each section (UR/EWS); 45% (SC/ST/OBC-NCL).

- Rs.826/- (UR/EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs.472 application + Rs.354 processing, incl. GST). SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Women: exempted from application fee but pay Rs.354/- processing fee.
