IRCON Manager/Electrical Recruitment 2026 – 37 Posts on Contract (Advt. C-12/2026)

IRCON International Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, invites applications for 37 posts of Manager/Electrical on contract basis for its Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Projects under Lumding and Tinsukia Divisions. Advertisement No. C-12/2026, dated 23.10.2026.

Selection is by walk-in interview only – there is no online application. Eligible candidates must report at one of the venues below with the prescribed application form and original documents.

Walk-in interview schedule

• Registration begins at 09:30 AM and closes at 1:00 PM on the interview date at the venue
• No request for change of date, time or location will be entertained. The exercise may run beyond one day depending on the number of candidates

Pay and terms

• Fixed consolidated pay of Rs.60,000 per month, with an annual increment of 5% on the fixed pay after each completed year of service
• No allowances over and above the fixed pay. TA/DA is admissible only if deputed on outstation duty
• Appointment is initially for 18 months, extendable by one more year subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement. The engagement is co-terminus with the project and confers no right to absorption in IRCON's regular establishment
• Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act, 1952 will be deducted, with matching employer contribution
• One leave per calendar month of service; leave may be accumulated but no leave encashment is allowed. One weekly off and project public holidays apply
• Contract employees must take a Rs.3 lakh medical health insurance policy with a premium ceiling of Rs.4,000 per annum, covering Covid-19 and other diseases; the premium is reimbursed against a copy of the policy and the original receipt

Eligibility

• Qualification: full-time Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognised University or Institute approved by AICTE/UGC
• Experience: minimum five years of post-qualification experience in Electrical construction, Procurement, Installation, Testing and Commissioning, or TRD Maintenance in Railways, Metro Rail, or Power Transmission/Distribution utilities
• Experience in Railway OHE / Power Supply / SCADA, E&M, or Electrical utility diversion is preferred
• Teaching, training, consultancy and freelancing experience is not treated as relevant experience
• Age: maximum 50 years as on 01.10.2026. Age relaxation is available as per Government of India guidelines, subject to the requisite qualification and experience
• Medical: candidates must be in sound health and free from colour blindness. No relaxation in health standards is allowed

Documents to carry

• Application typed on A-4 size paper in the format attached to the advertisement, with a self-attested passport-size photograph
• Experience certificates in chronological order. For present employment, an offer letter alone is not accepted – the last two months' salary slips of the present employer are also required
• Date of birth proof / Class X passing certificate
• Caste certificate, EWS certificate or age-relaxation certificate in the prescribed Government of India format. For OBC, only a certificate issued in the current financial year is accepted as proof of not belonging to the creamy layer
• Qualification degree/diploma and all semester or year mark sheets, for calculation of the percentage in the qualifying degree
• One complete set of photocopies along with all originals

Where a CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or letter grade is awarded and the university does not provide a conversion formula, a minimum of 6 on a 10-point scale is treated as 60%, and scores on other scales are prorated accordingly.

Ex-contract employees of IRCON whose services were terminated on closure of projects may apply if they meet the qualification and experience requirements, attaching a copy of the termination letter; such appointment is treated as a fresh appointment.
