IRCON International Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, has invited applications (Advt. No. A01/2026 dated 16.10.2026) for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. A total of 54 posts are advertised for one-year apprenticeship training comprising 36 Graduate Apprentices and 18 Technician (Diploma) Apprentices across various disciplines for IRCON's projects all over India. Eligible candidates can apply online from 16.10.2026 to 05.11.2026 on IRCON's website www.ircon.org. Vacancy Details (Graduate Apprentices – 36)

Note: The categories (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) shown against each discipline are as per the advertisement. In case seats in any discipline are not filled due to non-availability of eligible candidates, the same will be diverted to other disciplines. If sufficient reserved category candidates are not available, it shall be dealt as per Rule 5 (1&2) of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Vacancy Details (Technician / Diploma Apprentices – 18)

Age Limit & Stipend

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026): Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years. Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), wherein seat is reserved for the particular category.

Stipend: Graduate Apprentices – ₹14,000/- per month; Technician (Diploma) Holders – ₹12,000/- per month. As per the revised rate under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) w.e.f. 01-April-2026, 50% of the stipend amount of the minimum prescribed rate will be borne by the Govt. of India and disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by the Board in the Aadhaar-seeded savings bank account of the Apprentice:

Training Duration: One year (extension after completion of one year would not be admissible). Posting: Selected candidates shall be deployed at various Projects/Offices of the Company across the country (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, Rajasthan and Delhi-NCR), as per availability of slots.

Selection Procedure

There will be no interviews. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a merit list formed on the basis of marks secured in the essential Educational Qualification. Candidates should mention percentage in the fields where percentage is required without rounding off. The percentage obtained in the essential qualification as mentioned in the consolidated mark sheet issued by the University/Institution will be considered. If CGPA/OGPA/DGPA is mentioned in mark sheets and no conversion into percentage is provided by the University/Institute, a minimum of 6 on 10-point scale will be considered as 60%, and on any other scale the score will be prorated accordingly. The shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and through uploading of the list on the IRCON website, and will have to produce all original testimonials/certificates at the time of verification. A certificate of medical fitness must also be produced before joining.

How to Apply

1. Before applying, read the advertisement carefully and ensure that you fulfil all the eligibility criteria.
2. Mandatorily register/enroll on the Govt. website www.mhrdnats.gov.in as "Student" and obtain the unique registration number before applying for apprenticeship at IRCON.
3. Apply online from 16.10.2026 to 05.11.2026 on IRCON's website www.ircon.org → Careers → HR & Career → Engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961.
4. Register on IRCON's portal using your own/personal email ID and mobile number (if not already registered), and login with the credentials sent to your email.
5. Fill in the candidate details in the application form (post selection, personal details, education details, experience details, etc.).
6. Upload photograph, signature and the requisite documents/certificates (date of birth proof, educational qualification proofs, SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS certificate, identity proof, photograph and signature) as per the size/type limits.
7. Preview and submit the application form. Take a printout of the online submitted application generated in PDF format, sign it physically at the bottom right corner under declaration.
8. Send the signed printout along with self-attested photocopies of all documents, in an envelope superscribed "Application for the Engagement of Apprentices as per Apprentices Act 1961 – Advt No. A01/2026", to: Manager/HRM, IRCON International Limited, C-4, District Centre, Saket, New Delhi-110017, so that it reaches by 17.11.2026.

6. Who is not eligible? Result awaited/supplementary/back paper candidates; candidates who have undergone apprenticeship training in IRCON or any other organization; candidates who have completed more than three years after passing the qualifying examination as on 01.10.2026; and candidates who, after completion of education, have undergone training or job experience of one year or more.
