IPR, an aided institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, invites online applications for 58 project posts - Project Scientific Officer (PSO), Project Scientific Assistant (PSA) and Project Administrative Staff (PAS). Selected candidates will work at IPR, Bhat, Gandhinagar or at its laboratories at GIDC Sector-25, Gandhinagar. All posts are purely temporary, for a maximum period of three years.

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen as per Government of India orders. Medical facility under the Contributory Health Service Scheme (CHSS) for self is admissible, with monthly deduction as per IPR CHSS rules.
Essential Qualifications
- PSO: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Computer Science / Instrumentation & Control or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- PSA: three-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Computer Science Engineering with minimum 60% marks; for the Physics branch, B.Sc. (Physics). Only candidates holding a three-year Diploma are considered for PSA posts.
- PAS: Graduate in Arts / Commerce / Management / Science / Law / Computer Application with minimum 50% marks and a certified course in computers.
All qualifications must be from UGC-recognised Indian universities or AICTE-approved institutes/boards. Candidates with foreign qualifications must submit an equivalency certificate from UGC/AIU. Candidates holding higher qualifications than prescribed for PSO and PSA will be treated as overqualified and will not be screened in.
Selection
Applications will be scrutinised on age, educational qualification, category certificate and fee receipt, and only valid applicants will be called. PSO and PSA: interview (a written test may be conducted for screening only). PAS: written test and computer skill test. The written test/interview will be held at Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar; no TA is paid. A wait list valid for one year will be published.
