Eligibility (post-wise)
- Store Keeper Grade II: 12th pass from a recognised Board/University; one year experience in handling stores from a recognised firm/Central or State Govt. organisation/PSU.
- Engine Driver: Matriculation + Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver from a recognised Govt. institute or equivalent. Desirable: two years service as Sarang on a vessel over 400 Boat Horse Power.
- Lascar: Matriculation pass or equivalent; three years experience in service on Boat.
- Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): 10th pass; valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles; knowledge of motor mechanism; at least two years experience in driving motor vehicles.
- MTS (Peon): Matriculation or equivalent pass; two years experience as office attendant.
- MTS (Chowkidar): Matriculation or equivalent pass; two years experience as Chowkidar in a recognised institution/organisation.
Selection Process
- Scrutiny of applications → Document Verification → Biometric Verification → Written Examination (pen-paper, 1 hour, 80 objective questions, bilingual, 1 mark each, no negative marking) → trade/skill test where applicable.
- Syllabus: General Knowledge, Mathematics, General English, and questions on the relevant trade.
- Qualifying marks: 50% (45% for SC/ST). Merit strictly by written-exam marks.

- Apply in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) in English or Hindi, with self-attested colour photograph and self-attested photocopies of: valid photo ID, Matriculation marksheet/certificate, 12th/UG/PG/Diploma certificates, category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), experience certificate, NOC (if in Govt. service), two passport photos, and a separate blank envelope with Rs.50 postal stamp addressed to self.
