IIT Roorkee invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under PI Dr. Bhaveshkumar R. Bhalja, Department of Electrical Engineering, sponsored by GE Renewable Energy Technologies Ltd.
Job description: Develop and validate AI-assisted cyber-physical protection and monitoring architecture for IEC-61850-based digital substations - literature review, threat modelling, research data framework, and a baseline digital substation test environment.
Emoluments: Rs. 40,000 + HRA. Duration: 3 years or till end of project (whichever earlier). An online interview will be conducted; selected candidate may get an opportunity for Ph.D. admission.
