Applications are invited for the temporary post of Program Manager at the Gopalakrishnan-Deshpande Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GDC), IIT Madras. Coordinator: Prof. Krishnan Balasubramanian, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering. Duration: initially one year, extendable based on performance. Vacancies: 01.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any subject with 5 years; Postgraduate will be preferred.
- Three+ years of experience in a college, corporate or training organisation in managing/coordinating programs.
- High fluency in written and spoken English; working knowledge of Tamil and Hindi.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, Email and social media; willing to learn database/video-editing and other online tools.
- Ability to create and manage program schedules, organise/distribute training materials, maintain databases, manage communication and contracts, and administer surveys.
- Proficient in managing online webinars/conferences (Zoom, Teams); comfortable in small teams and under tight deadlines.

Job Description
Organising and conducting in-person and online GDC programs and managing all related tasks including Administration and Accounts; managing multiple tasks, prioritising to meet deadlines, making independent operating decisions and resolving operational conflicts. Based at GDC's office, IIT Madras campus, Chennai.
