Vacancy Details

Essential Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale
• Consistently good academic record set out in appropriate UGC regulations

Essential Experience

• Minimum 18 years of post-qualification experience in reputed Libraries as College Librarian / Assistant Librarian, OR
• At least 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian or equivalent in Pay Matrix Level 12 in a reputed Institution or University
• Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work

Desirable

• M.Phil / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript keeping
• Computerization of Library

Age Limit

Preferably below 57 years

Pay & Allowances

Pay Matrix Level 14: ₹1,44,200-2,18,200/- and other allowances as admissible per Institute norms.
