Consolidated Compensation: Rs. 37000 per month (consolidated, depending on qualification and experience)

Tenure: For a period of one year from the date of joining with a provision of extension for a maximum period up to four years or termination of the project, whichever is earlier, based on performance.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

Four years Bachelors Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Masters Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc /B. Pharm or Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent Max. Age - 35 Yrs i) 37,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or (b)A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions ii) 28,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under above Strong inclination to do research in neurosciences, with prior experience in the field will be given preference. Ability to code in MATLAB and inclination to performing neurophysiological experiments is desired. Candidates need to follow on and apply to the PhD program in IIT Kharagpur through an appropriate department. /-
