Tenure: 24 Months or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

1. Essential Qualification: a) Ph.D in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with specialization in Thermal Engineering from a reputed institute (Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are waiting for thesis defence may also apply), or b) Post Graduate Degree (M.E/M.Tech/M.S), including the integrated PG degrees from a reputed institute, with specialization in Thermal Engineering, with 3 years post-qualification experience in reputed industry or organization, or c) Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute with 5 years post- qualification experience in reputed industry or organization


Desirable Criteria:

1. Desired Experience: Candidate should have strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer, with hands-on experience in 3D modelling, CFD/ FEA analysis, CAD design and fabrication and control system design. 2. The candidate should have good and proven technical writing skills, and experience in translating research outcomes into practical applications and scalable solutions. 3. Age Limit: 40 years with 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped/Visually Handicapped and Female candidate as per guidelines. Age as on date of advertisement. 4. Emoluments (per month): Up to Rs. 78,000/- (depending upon qualification & experience) + HRA (as per institute norms). 5. Tenure: 24 months.
