M.Tech (Land and Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Water Resources Development and Management, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Earth System Science and Technology, Remote Sensing and GIS, Geoinformatics, Hydrology, Watershed Management or equivalent discipline) with good credential. 2. B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Any other relevant engineering degree) with valid GATE/NET score. 3. The candidate should have secured a minimum of 70% marks (CGPA>7.0/10) in his/her BTech /B.E and MTech/ME degrees. Desired Experience : 1.Experience in handling satellite data products (examples: SARAL, Jason1/2/3, Sentinel) and expertise in RS/GIS softwares 2.Experience in hydrological modeling and handling multi dimensional data sets 3.Prior experience in Radar altimeters will be given priority. Candidates should have good skills in Remote sensing data analysis, especially Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data handling. Programming skills in Python,R and/or MATLAB programming.
