Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur invites online applications from Indian Nationals for the following positions including backlog vacancies. The Institute is an Institute of Eminence and the first and largest in the chain of IITs engaged in teaching, research and development.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Grade-I (Pay Level 12: ₹78,800-2,09,200)
- First class ME/M.Tech/M.S. or equivalent in CSE/IT from a recognized university with at least 8 years relevant experience (2 years in Grade Pay ₹6,600 or equivalent) OR
- First class B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. in CSE/IT/MCA with at least 9 years relevant experience (3 years in Grade Pay ₹6,600 or equivalent)
- Age: Preferably below 50 years
Grade-II (Pay Level 11: ₹67,700-2,08,700)
- Similar qualifications as above with reduced experience requirements
- Age: Preferably below 40 years
Software/System/Network Engineer (Pay Level 10: ₹56,100-1,77,500)
- B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in CSE/IT/MCA from a recognized university
- Age: Preferably below 40 years
Relevant Experience
Software Engineer: Java, Spring, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, web services, XML, database design, TCP/IP, HTTP, UML, system/class design, testing, and maintenance.
System Engineer: Linux/Windows system administration, centralized/networked storage, backup servers, mail/proxy servers, antivirus and security software.
Network Engineer: Design, operation, and maintenance of large wired/wireless networks, switches, routers, access points, network security infrastructure, network management systems.
