Role Description
This is one of the research roles at the Just Transition Research Centre, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Kanpur. The role involves writing project reports and collaboration with other verticals to advance the goals of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Data analysis and synthesis.
- Assisting the field research team with data collection activities.
- Writing project reports, papers, and presentations, including for community outreach purposes.
- Handling quantitative and qualitative data.
- Other tasks assigned by the reporting authority.
Selection Criteria
- Education: Postgraduate in relevant discipline.
- Experience: Working experience in Just Transition Research Centre.
- Skills and Competencies: Experience of primary and secondary data collection and analysis; strong written communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in technology and data analytics tools such as KOBO, ArcGIS/QGIS, Python, SPSS, Zotero; skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
