IIT (ISM) Dhanbad invites applications for 01 position of Senior Project Associate under the ANRF-ARG project “Strong Correlation, Entanglement and Complexity in Topological and Flat Band Systems: A GPU accelerated approach” (SRDP/1293/G) under Dr. Sudeshna Sen (Physics). Initial tenure is 1 year, extendable by 6 months to 1 year on academic performance with PI and institute recommendation.

Essential qualification
- Masters in Natural / Agricultural Sciences / MVSc / M.Pharm / Bachelors in Engineering / Technology / Medicine with 4 years R&D experience; OR Masters in Engineering / Technology with 2 years R&D experience; OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS
- Desirable: strong theoretical / computational condensed-matter physics including quantum-information approaches, computer programming and code development from scratch, prior work on strongly correlated or topological systems with a good publication record; mentoring of graduate students
- Work: theoretical and computational research on topology and strong correlations (GPU codes, DMFT, entanglement markers) with national and international collaboration
- Age as per ANRF norms (relaxable per GOI orders)
