Candidates with a good publication record in Li/Na-ion batteries preferred. Those who have submitted their PhD thesis and are yet to receive the degree are also eligible |
| Desirable | Experience with layered-oxide synthesis and electrochemical characterisation; proven expertise in assembly, testing and analysis of pouch-type Na-ion full cells; excellent publications in Li/Na-ion battery materials; good communication skills and strong command of spoken and written English |
Job Description
Synthesise and optimise sodium layered-oxide cathodes; develop and optimise prototype Na-ion full cells with identified layered oxides and commercial hard carbon; comprehensive structural and electrochemical characterisation including GCD cycling, CV, EIS and operando XRD; progress reports and peer-reviewed publications. No TA or DA will be paid. Only shortlisted candidates will be called; selection informed by email. IIT Indore reserves the right not to fill the position if suitable candidates are not found.
