Indian Institute of Technology Indore invites applications from interested and motivated candidates for 01 post of Research Associate (RA) in a research project in the Civil Engineering Department (Prof. Neelima Satyam) — appointment initially for 04 months.
Project Work
Multi-talented RA with strong expertise in geotechnical engineering: biocementation/MICP or biogeotechnics, geotechnical lab testing, slope stability and geotechnical analysis software, microstructural characterization, soil stabilization / erosion mitigation / slope stability research.
Eligibility
- Essential: Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent, OR 3 years research/teaching/design-development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
- Desirable: Prior exposure to biocementation/MICP or biogeotechnics; hands-on geotechnical lab testing; slope-stability software; microstructural analysis; publications in soil stabilization/erosion/slope stability.
Fellowship
Consolidated fixed fellowship at one of three levels by qualification/experience: RA-I Rs.58,000/-; RA-II Rs.61,000/-; RA-III Rs.67,000/- (institute decides placement).
