IIT Delhi invites online applications from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS candidates with high-quality independent research for Assistant Professor (Grade-I/II) across ~28 departments/centres/schools (Advt. No. IITD/EST-1/02/2026/SRD, dated 18.08.2026; qualifications/experience reckoned 18.08.2026). Women from reserved categories specially encouraged; valid GOI caste/PwBD certificates required.
Vacancy & Pay
Assistant Professor Gr-I/II (reserved categories only); pay per 7th CPC academic levels (Gr-II entry, Level-11 after 1 yr experience; Gr-I placement on meeting experience norms; higher start possible).
Eligibility
- PhD with first class/equivalent preceding degree + specialization per Annexure-I units
- Experience per grade (pre-/during-PhD experience excluded); PwBD eligibility per Annexure-II
