IIT Delhi Sr. Project Scientist Recruitment 2026 - Advt No. IITD/IRD/218/2026
Applications from Indian nationals are invited for the project appointment of Sr. Project Scientist (1) under the project Fixing the Leak: Advancing STEM Innovation and Inclusion in India, One Woman Scientist at a Time (RP04233F) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Delhi. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier and subject to satisfactory work execution.

Qualifications
- 1st class Masters in Sociology/Social Anthropology, Gender Studies, Political Science or related social sciences, or MA with 3 years of experience, with First Class.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high quality qualitative research and writing.
- Preferred: Candidates with demonstrated interest in Gender Inequality and Inclusion, Higher Education, STEM Education, and Engineering education. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Qualitative Data Analysis Software (Nvivo, QDA Miner) and Zotero.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the PI at IITD and working collaboratively with the project team at IITD.
- Conceptualizing, planning and executing qualitative research studies.
- Analysis of data and preparation of reports/papers etc.
Note: This is a full-time position; candidates must be able to commit to working full-time on the project.
