Ph.D. in Optics, Interferometry, Holography, and Optical Imaging with minimum one year experience in Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV) for shock-wave velocity determination, along with experience in ultra-high-speed framing cameras, high-speed electronic streak cameras, and velocity interferometers. 5% relaxation for SC/ST.

IIT Delhi Project Scientist-III Recruitment 2026 - Advt No. IITD/IRD/22/2026

Applications from Indian nationals are invited for the project appointment of Project Scientist-III (01) under the project Development of optical imaging based measurement technique for ultra-transient phenomena of detonation (RMO0055G) at the Department of Physics, IIT Delhi. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Optics, Interferometry, Holography, and Optical Imaging.

5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST candidates.
