IIT Delhi invites applications from qualified persons for International Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow (I-IPDF) across academic units to strengthen the research ecosystem and groom potential faculty (Advt. No. IITD/EST-1/03/2026/I-IPDF, updated 10.09.2026). Rolling applications.
Fellowship & Benefits
- Rs. 80000/- per month (Rs. 65000 pre-defence) + HRA at GOI New Delhi rates (no institute accommodation)
- Professional Development Allowance Rs. 1 lakh per financial year (Rs. 25000/quarter from joining)
Eligibility
- Foreign nationals with PhD from any institution other than IIT Delhi
- PhD with first class/equivalent preceding degree + consistent record (thesis-submitted candidates considered with guide/HoD certificate; defence mandatory before 1st-year assessment)
- Demonstrated research via reputed journal/conference publications; max age 32 (male) / 35 (female)
