Essential: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Material Science. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible.
Desirable: Strong background in computational and experimental mechanics; FEA, scientific programming, advanced experimental techniques.
Research areas: Computational & experimental solid mechanics – fracture/damage mechanics, phase-field and gradient damage modelling; auxetic structures; CFRP/GFRP composites.
Age limit: Upper age 35 years (relaxation per Government of India norms).
