- Junior Research Fellow: M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc. in Geoinformatics/GIS/Remote Sensing/Geology/Civil Engineering and GATE/CSIR-UGC NET qualified.
- Field Assistant: Graduation or Diploma in a relevant field, with experience in field surveys and willingness to travel to field sites.
- Both positions are purely temporary for a tenure of two years and are available immediately; the selected candidates are expected to join immediately.

Applications are invited for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Field Assistant to work on the NHPC-sponsored project “Early Detection of Unstable Slopes around the Reservoir Rim through an Integrated Approach using SAR Imagery and UAV-mounted IRT Platform”, under the supervision of Dr Shray Pathak and Dr Resmi Sebastian, Department of Civil Engineering.

Nature of Work
- JRF: data collection and slope stability analysis by integrating SAR imagery with UAV-mounted infrared thermography (IRT) for early detection of unstable slopes around the reservoir rim.
- Field Assistant: field surveys and ground-truth data collection around the reservoir rim, support for UAV-IRT flights, and data entry in support of the project team.
