Position

• Assistant Professor – Grade II

• Assistant Professor – Grade I

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution

• First Class or equivalent in the preceding degree

• Demonstrated research potential and a strong academic record

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be below 36 years of age as on 31 December 2026

• Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms

Experience Requirements

The experience criteria differ depending on the position level:

Assistant Professor – Grade II

• Suitable for candidates with less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience

Assistant Professor – Grade I

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching, research, or industry

Pay Structure

• Assistant Professor Grade II: Pay Level 10 (Minimum Basic ₹70,900)

• Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12 (Minimum Basic ₹1,01,500)
