Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) invites applications for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) in the Centre for Interdisciplinary and Convergent Technologies under an ICMR sponsored project.

Essential Qualification
- Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees; OR
- For Engineering / IT / CS – Four Years Graduate Degree.
Desirable Qualification
- Master''s degree in Biotechnology / Biomedical / Polymer / Molecular Biology preferred.
- Candidates with research experience in microneedle fabrication and cell culture handling are encouraged to apply.
Emoluments
Up to Rs. 61,600/- per month depending upon qualification and experience, with HRA as admissible.
Age Limit and Tenure
Age limit 40 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years may be granted to deserving candidates having experience of working in a Government Research Organization, on a case-to-case basis, by DG, ICMR / Head of Institution. The contract of engagement shall be up to one year, extendable up to three years subject to requirement and performance review (up to five years in exceptional cases with DG ICMR approval).
