Eligibility
1. Junior Project Technical Assistant (Electrical Engineering)
- Essential: Graduate degree/Technical diploma (3 year duration) with one year relevant work experience, OR ITI with six years of relevant work experience.
- Desirable: Previous work experience in any IIT; proficiency in MS Office.
- Job Profile: Technical and administrative support to the project at IIT Jodhpur; liaison among project team, institute offices and funding agency.
- Specialization: Awareness about GFR purchase rules, stock register management, eOffice, invoice processing.
2. Project Technical Assistant (HARMONY Project)
- Essential: As per Institute norms — BTech/BE/AMIE and equivalent, or Graduate degree in appropriate discipline (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Technology, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent)/Technical Diploma (3 years) + 2 years relevant work experience, or ITI with 8 years of work experience in relevant field.
- Desirable: 2 or more years of work experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or Building Technology.
- Job Profile: Development of data-driven vulnerability and risk assessment of schools exposed to heat wave hazard in Andhra Pradesh; physical survey of schools through questionnaires; preparation of mitigation plans for resilient infrastructure. Requires travelling to different schools for data collection in Western Rajasthan (preliminary study) and Andhra Pradesh, along with digitisation and post-processing of data.
3. Project Technical Assistant (Cement Concrete Reliability Project)
- Essential: Same as Position 2 above.
- Desirable: 2 or more years of work experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology or Building Technology.
- Job Profile: Performing tests on cement, aggregate, concrete and admixtures; mix design trials; uncertainty quantification and reliability analysis of modified cement concrete (with GGBS, aggregate waste, silica fume etc.) through experimental and numerical frameworks.
Age Limit
- Maximum age as per position (35–40 years). Age will be calculated on the closing date of online submission of application.
- Relaxation in age for category candidates would be admissible as per Central Government Rules. Caste certificate must be enclosed with the application.
