Department of Physics / Interdisciplinary Area of Quantum Computing (IAQC), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore invites applications for the position of Project Associate-I (PA-I) in a research project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) Program. Job Description
The selected candidate will work on theoretical and numerical aspects of multipartite quantum cryptography, including threshold quantum distillation, multipartite entanglement cloning machines and quantum secret sharing protocols. The work involves quantum circuit and network simulation using Python, QuTiP, Qiskit and MATLAB/Mathematica, along with security proofs, analytical derivations and manuscript writing for high-impact scientific publications.
Age Limit
35 years as on the closing date (age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates as per GoI norms).
Ph.D. Opportunity
The selected candidate will be strongly encouraged to register for the Ph.D. program at IIT Indore as per institute norms, subject to fulfilling admission criteria. If selected for the Ph.D. program, the fellowship will be extended for the Ph.D. duration.
