| Education | M.Tech./M.Sc. in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences or a related field. |
| Knowledge | Basic understanding of water quality, environmental pollution and bioremediation, renewable energy and environmental sustainability. |
| Desirable | GATE qualification in a relevant discipline; knowledge of wastewater treatment, environmental monitoring and renewable-energy technologies; research/report-writing experience; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and handle fieldwork in remote locations. |
| Tenure | Five months or until project completion, whichever is earlier. The project is funded by the NCSTC Division, Department of Science and Technology. |
