Project Title

“Vadnagar Glass and Its Role in Maritime Network”

Monthly Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 28,000–INR 44,000 per month

The final remuneration will be determined according to institutional and funding-agency norms.

Essential Qualification

Applicants should possess a master’s degree in any of the following or a related discipline:

• Archaeology

• Ancient Indian History and Culture

• Heritage and Museum Studies

• Society and Culture

Desirable Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Field-research experience in archaeology

• Experience in archaeological documentation

• Knowledge of ancient artefacts

• Strong academic and fieldwork skills

• Proficiency in English writing

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to undertake field-based research activities, including:

• Documentation of glass finds from Vadnagar

• Collection of raw materials from different sites

• Ethnographic documentation

• Literature review

• Preparation of field notes and research records

• Assistance in project-related reporting and analysis

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 30 years as on the last date of application.
